Kaitou Kid

Kaitou Kid is a thief. He steals jewels, diamonds and other precious things, and the police never caught him. He always sends a warning to his "victims" and steals it without leaving any clue. Kaitou Kid is a magician, also known as Kid The Phantom Thief. Nobody knows Kid's true identity.
Kid's true identity is the 17 year old high school student, Kaito Koruba. Kaito has a childhood friend called Aoko, and she is the daughter of inspector Nakamori who tries to capture Kaitou Kid. Kaito's father died when Kaito was 8 years old. His father was the original Kaitou Kid, but he was murdered when he tried to steal something. Now Kaito took over the role of the Phantom Thief, trying to find the murderer of his father.
Kid also appears in Detective Conan sometimes, and he is known as one of Conan's greatest rivals. Conan does not know his true identity yet, but he does all what he can to catch him. Kaitou Kid also knows Conan's true identity.
